Quilisma Privacy Policy
Effective October 21, 2026 · Quilisma is a Reductio ad Deum project
In short: Quilisma does not collect, store, or share any personal information. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking. Your learning progress stays on your own device.
Information we collect
None. Quilisma does not collect personal information, usage data, device identifiers, location, contacts, or any other data about you, and it does not send any information about you to us or to anyone else. The app contains no advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting services.
Information stored on your device
To work, Quilisma keeps a small file on your device with your learning progress (skill levels, practice history, streaks, and points), your settings, and any chants you add to your library. This file stays in the app’s private storage on your device. We can’t see it.
Uninstalling Quilisma, or using Settings → Reset, deletes this information.
Backups you create
If you use Settings → Backup & sync → Export, Quilisma saves a copy of your progress to a file and location that you choose, such as your device storage or a cloud drive. That file is under your control, and we never receive it.
Android may also include app data in your device’s own backup, if you have device backup turned on. That backup is handled by Google under your Google account settings, not by us.
Notifications
If you turn on the daily practice reminder, Quilisma schedules a notification on your device at the time you choose. The reminder is created and shown entirely on your device; nothing is sent over the internet. You can turn it off in the app’s Settings or in your device’s notification settings.
Optional donations
Quilisma is free, and nothing in it is locked. If you choose to make an optional donation, the payment is processed entirely by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment details, name, or contact information. Google Play only tells the app that a donation was completed so it can say thank you. Google’s handling of your payment information is covered by the Google Privacy Policy and the Google Play terms.
Links
Quilisma contains a link to our website. Opening it takes you to your web browser, outside the app.
Permissions
Quilisma asks only for permissions it needs to run on your device:
- Notifications, only if you turn on the daily reminder.
- Run at startup, so a reminder you’ve set is restored after your device restarts.
- Google Play billing, used only when you choose to make a donation.
Children
Quilisma is intended for people older than thirteen years. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it does not collect personal information from children.
